JCI Mauritius, in partnership with the GML group, have launched a national competition to elect the young country's most innovative entrepreneurs. This contest is open to all young Mauritian entrepreneurs between 18 and 40 years. The deadline for entries is 18 August 2013. Simply fill out a form available on the website of JCI Mauritius CYEA ( http://cyea-jcimauritius.org ) or on his Facebook page.
"We are looking for young businessmen and women who have created a business and turned a company successfully. They must be creative in order to develop products and offer commendable services. We will choose the appropriate candidate who can deal with many issues to ensure the smooth running of their business, "said Pritty Padaruth, President of JCI Port Louis.
GML, the main partner of this contest, focused on innovation in its subsidiaries in 2013. "Thanks to its founders, GML is today one of the leading groups in Mauritius. The objective of this competition is to reward a young entrepreneur who will impress us with their creativity. Innovation and creativity are vital in a company. These young entrepreneurs will be responsible for the Mauritian private sector in a few years, "he told Arnaud Lagesse, Chief Executive Officer of GML.
President of JCI Port Louis said that all applicants will be grouped at the national level. All applications received will be considered by a jury composed of a panel of experts in the business world and the economy. Holders of interesting instances are interviewed by the jury. JCI is a worldwide federation of nearly 200 000 young professionals and entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 40 years in more than 100 countries.
