Serious Fire in Central Barracks: One Dead and Two Injured

A fire broke out in the central barracks at around 14 pm on Wednesday, 40 July 31. Early indications of the police, the balance sheet amounted to a death, a technician CEB, and two wounded.

Supermarkets and shops around the central barracks without electricity. That is because a transformer exploded in a sub-station of the Central Electricity Board (CEB) located in central Barracks, Port Louis. This has led to a serious fire.

One death and two injuries were reported, according to preliminary information from the police. These are two colleagues of the CEB, who carried out repairs to barracks. Firefighters busy on the scene to control the fire.
