New Web Portal For Importers and Exporters

This is a web portal that will benefit small and medium enterprises and those who want to engage in the business of importing and exporting. The Mauritius Trade Portal was launched Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Le Suffren, Port Louis. It aims to provide maximum information to the business community and the general public on the procedures and import and export regulations in Mauritius. The business portal is accessible www.mauritiustrade.mu

 The portal will include several elements, among others, reports on different sectors in Mauritius, exploring the commercial market (list of important trading countries), trade with Mauritius and trade agreements signed by Mauritius. It includes, among other things, links to other sites including to the International Trade Centre.

 Users will also have access to statistics from the markets of import and export and international directories of business.
