The goal: to get a certification in several areas of the food industry. 30 operators in the food sector, including farmers, agroprocesseurs and officials of the Agricultural Research & Extension Unit and the Mauritius Standards Bureau , will travel to Italy for a two-week training at the renowned Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Bari. The courses will last two weeks.
This project, co-funded by the European Commission, led by the Ministry of Labour and the International Organization for Migration. An approach which aims, among others, to strengthen the skills to manage legal migration and preventing irregular migration.
Representatives of Medina, ENL and Orchards Labourdonnais will also be part of the journey. These firms finance their travel themselves.
