Registration requests for payment of examination (fresh Examination Fees ) of the SC, HSC and GCE for this year begins today, Monday, February 17. To be eligible, students must be aged 20 or less during the year and attending a secondary institution full time.
Parents who are eligible must register at office nearest their local Social Security. To obtain a full refund of the examination fees of their children, families must be receiving social assistance ( Social Aid ) or unemployment (allocation Unemployment Hardship Relief ) and have monthly income not exceeding Rs 14,500 . Beneficiaries are those who receive a basic pension (old age pension, widow's pension, disability pension, orphan's pension) and would have been eligible for social assistance if they do not enjoy.
Families whose monthly income is in the range of Rs 14,501 to Rs 20,000 will receive a grant of 50% on the examination fees.
