SBM: A new CEO in office from December 1

The name of Premchand Mungur is being mentioned with insistence in the highest echelons of the country to be the new CEO of the State Bank of Mauritius.

This position has been vacant since last January, when Anoop Nilamber submitted his resignation.

Premchand Mungur has been to MauBank and has several years of experience in the financial and banking sector.
