The alleged victim maintains, in his statement, that the incident took place around 11:00 p.m. on Friday, when a minister, whom he knows personally, and two police officers, allegedly attacked him at his home.
He says he noted missed calls from the Minister of the Civil Service on his phone a few minutes earlier.
This 39-year-old civil servant said he was slapped by the two police officers and the minister.
He says he was not seriously injured, but that he has pain in his face and chest. He went to Goodlands Mediclinic to treat his injuries.
According to him, this alleged attack is a reaction to a message he sent to the minister in question, expressing his dissatisfaction with his actions.
An investigation into assault which will exceptionally be conducted by an Assistant Police Commissioner and two Assistant Police Superintendents.
