Holi will be celebrated in all the 270 temples, and at a national level at Triolet and Grand Bois
The president, Somduth Dulthumun said that Holi will be celebrated in all the 270 temples, and at a national level at Triolet and Grand Bois.
He announced that singing competitions will be held from March 16 to 18 in Montagne Longue and Vacoas. The finals will take place on Saturday.
The municipal Council of Curepipe, in collaboration with other socio-cultural associations of Curepipe, will be organising a series of activities too. A ‘chawtal’ competition was held from March 14 to 16 and the final of the competition will take place on Friday at 7 pm at Hotel de Ville.
Holika Dahan is scheduled for Saturday at 9 pm at Robinson Maheshwarnath Mandir and the Holi Mela at Swastika Mandir will take place on Sunday at 1 pm. An award ceremony will be held on March 26 at 5 pm at the Hotel de Ville.
