Some 150 youngsters, aged between 15 and 22 years, from Bon Accueil State College, Bel Air State Secondary School, MGSS and the youth wing of the Arya Sabha of Flacq were awarded certificates for their participation in ‘Youth leadership’ and ‘Life Skills Management’ courses, offered by the Sports ministry. Speaking to The Independent, Dilip Jaygopaul, principal youth officer for Flacq region said: “These courses which were carried over a period of 3 to 4 months are initial steps to develop certain competencies and values in youth.
