Renewable Energy: An Indian Minister in Mauritius with Series of Agreements

He and his counterpart in Mauritius, Rashid Beebeejaun, will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the development and use of clean energy reached in 2005 by the two countries. 

Mauritius-India cooperation is on the menu of the visit of Indian Minister Renewable Energy. The Mauritian government placed on the government's support of the Great Peninsula to further promote the development of renewable energy in Mauritius. Indian experts will soon be on hand to assist the local in their task. 

Farooq Abdullah arrived this Tuesday, January 17. He was greeted at the airport by a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister, Rashid Beebeejaun. 

The timing of the new Indian Minister of Renewable Energies is charged on Wednesday morning. He will also attend a religious ceremony at the Samadhi of Sir Seewoosagur at Pamplemousses Garden.

Farooq Abdullah met in the morning the Prime Minister, Navin Ramgoolam, the building of the Treasury to discuss the issue of renewable energy and especially the Maurice Ile Durable project . The tentative agreement will be signed at the office of Rashid Beebeejaun. An agreement that will further strengthen the ties between the two countries in the field of renewable energy. 

Farooq Abdullah is a seasoned politician. His father Sheikh Abdullah was the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kasmir. Since he took over the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, the largest political party in the Indian state. 

Farooq Abdullah was elected to Rajya Sabha in 2009. He joined the United Progressive Alliance forms a government headed by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Farooq Abdullah did when he entered the cabinet.
