Robotics: Ramesh Caussy Won Trophy in France in Partnership

Partnering 3.0 belonging to Mauritius and the laboratory of Etis Clergy have designed a robot capable of interacting with humans. An experience that will enable the concept of Aesthetics Artificial another step in its evolution.

The jury to award the trophy for best innovation of Val d'Oise, France, from a partnership project between companies, has given its verdict Friday, May 25, 2012 at the Musée du Quai Branly located along the Seine not far from the Eiffel Tower, Paris.

The trophy was won by 3.0 Partnering created by the Mauritius, Ramesh Caussy and Etis. The company first made a name in the field of innovation and is responsible for digital printing. The second, Etis of Clergy, is a laboratory engaged in research in the field of robotics.

The draft prepared by the two companies has been to design a robot capable of interacting with humans. The first public experiment was conducted from April 14 to 22 at the Quai Branly Museum. The device was placed at the heart of the Museum's collections.

The ultimate goal is to create an interactive learning model that can foster the emergence of a form of Artificial Beauty. Helped by a roboticist and an anthropologist, the craft is able to analyze visitor behavior. He then had to invoke a sense of observation and develop his own sense of aesthetics. Visitors were able to help define the criteria for assessments of the robot.

"This is a first in the field of artificial beauty. This research will allow us to draw conclusions for the possibility of their application to the design of large blocks of buildings in which the contribution of technology will play a significant role.This implies a control of the interaction between robot and human phenomena that result, " said Ramesh Caussy. He believes that these elements are necessary for the development of new functions that the robot will be able to assimilate. "It is a goal that is reached by the end of this year."
