"Cultural Fiesta Mauritius"in September

The Office of Tourism of Mauritius started to decline his new visibility strategy. After the "Mauritius Shopping Fiesta", which officially begins tomorrow, Mauritius will live in a time of "Mauritius Cultural Fiesta", a new major event that will highlight the rich culture of Mauritius.

"Mauritius has a very nice card to play in the cultural and the second part of our strategy will be built around this wealth," said the president of the MTPA, Robert Desvaux, to "Mauritius Tourism" yesterday.

The Mauritius, through this event, hopes to attract tourists eager for a cultural holiday. Several events will be grafted around this "Mauritius Shopping Fiesta", whose "Book Fair Confluence" to be held in Mauritius from 13 to 16 September.

From Salon Confluences 13 to 16 September 2012 in Mauritius will evolve from the International Book Fair, "Confluence 2012" at the Swami Vivekananda Convention Centre. Under the aegis of the Prime Minister's Office, 2012 Confluence wants the world to the cultural diversity of Mauritius.

For its first edition, "Confluence 2012" focuses on the cultural exchanges between peoples by providing a forum for our readers and book lovers, creating areas of language and cultural encounters with famous writers from our land settlement : discussion panels, symposia, signing sessions, competitions and literary awards, exhibitions and cultural performances of all kinds, as many events to allow people of all ages to discover.

Also a literary space with the participation of world-renowned writers, the show "Confluence" provides a strong element of creativity, youth and new technologies. Professionals in the book chain will also show the public the book in all its forms.

Literary stop "Sofitel So Mauritius"

The other event that will be part of the "Mauritius Cultural Fiesta" is a "literary Escale" to be held at Sofitel So Mauritius , in the south of Mauritius, Bel Ombre. Depending on the details currently available, several prominent French writers were invited to attend the event.

The "Mauritius Cultural Fiesta," the program is being finalized, will also include the rich heritage of Mauritius.

The Office of Tourism of Mauritius also plans to organize, by the end of the year, a "Fiesta Mauritius Golf" and "Mauritius Culinary Fiesta" with the support of key tourism operators in Mauritius.
