This event will bring together professionals and beginners kite surfing, about 800 guests, including Russian businessmen, kiters professionals, journalists, executives, VIPs and celebrities. Supported by most media well based in Russia, including GQ, Business, Mauritius Kite Jam the aims to develop Mauritius as a major destination for professionals and lovers of kite surfing, a sport that is growing among Russian customers aristocratic class.

A first edition of Kite Surf Jam, held in 2010 in Mauritius, brought together 200 professionals, sports enthusiasts and leisure, say the organizers. The event has also attracted the interest of Russians, kite surfing enthusiasts, for Mauritius, the sport is popular with young people and those with higher incomes. The country has several advantages for the practice of kite surfing, it became a destination for enthusiasts from around the world. In 2011, a group of about 300 people attended this event that combines sport, music and luxury travel.
