This after he refused to disclose the amount of its profits to the Department of Trade and Industry.According to the Consumer Protection (supply and control) Act 1998, all businesses engaged in the sale of basic food must inform the Ministry of its profit margin. Faced with this refusal, the officers of the Consumer Protection Unit (CPU) raided the premises of the company on Thursday 1st November to convince one last time, the company to comply with the law. They also refused.
