Financial Horoscope: What Your Astrological Sign..
Ever have that feeling that the sun, moon and stars are lining up in a way that is preventing you from good fortune? Do you ever feel that people born around the same time seem to have all the luck when it comes to personal finance?

If you like reading about horoscope signs then you know that astrologers believe that how the planets were lined up when you were born is connected to every aspect of life, including finances. Want to know how your sign fits into the equation? Let’s take a look at each zodiac sign to find out more.

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

Don’t give this one a credit card. That’s right. Those born under Aries are known for their impulsive, live-for-the-moment nature. While this attitude is bound to guarantee an exciting life, it could result in serious debt problems if not carefully managed.

If you’re a spend-easy Aries, it’s going to be important that you find a way to control your impulses by learning how to budget your money. And if you acquire enough saving to begin investing, you benefit from an ability to make risky choices no other sign in the zodiac would have the nerve to attempt, resulting in the potential for amazing returns.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

Financial security is a must. Most people who have lived with a Taurus know that financial security is almost an obsession with these territorial bulls. They not only intend to have money, but lots of it.

If you’re a Taurus, you probably invest in high-interest savings accounts, real estate holdings and anywhere else that will guarantee security down the line, which is a good thing. Just remember that while security is great, being too frugal could sometimes work against you.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

Spend, save, spend, save. The dual nature of the Gemini guarantees that, at times, this sign will spend every bit of that paycheck. And then the next month, save it all.

If you’re a Gemini, money is probably on your mind at all times. It will just be up to you to curb your urge to splurge–and if you can’t, set aside a place in your budget for special splurging occasions.

Since you like great deals, also keep in mind that you have a unique gift for gab that allows you to talk down any salesman for bargains only a Gemini is talented enough to acquire.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

The sign of self-made millionaires. There are said to be more self-made millionaires born as Cancers than any other zodiac sign. This has a lot to do with their ability to know exactly what the public needs when conducting business.

If you’re a Cancer, you may know that your frugal tendencies and promotional skills in business have already gotten you closer to your goal of financial freedom that anyone else you know. But don’t get so caught up in your goal of becoming rich that you forget to spend something here and there for present-moment fun.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

I am spender, hear me roar! Leos are spenders who make no qualms about how they manage their money, even if to others it looks as though they’re flushing it down the toilet. What’s great about these big-hearted lions, however, is that much of their money is being spent on those they love.

If you are a Leo, you are likely to show your heart by giving your family and friends the best money can buy. A great way to make your giving heart work for you is to open a college savings account for a young family member. This way, you could show how much you care while still being financially responsible.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

Frugal Is the Virgo’s middle name. If you think a Cancer or Taurus is frugal, you clearly haven’t met a Virgo. Not only do they save every penny they have, but will clean some out of your sofa when you turn your back.

As a Virgo, you probably have money in certificates of deposit, safe deposit boxes and even mattresses. In fact, the biggest gripe against you is probably not that you don’t save enough, but that you’re too apprehensive about letting any money go.

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

Balance is desired, but not always accomplished. While Libras love to keep balance in their lives, balancing a checkbook isn’t always easy because they love to spend, especially when they entertain.

As with Aries and Gemini, if you’re a Libra, it’s good to focus on setting up a long-term budget that aims for a comfortable retirement while taking care of your bills as soon as you get paid. This way, when you spend all of your cash on the finer things, you won’t be forced to admire it all by candlelight because your electricity’s been turned off.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

Hey! Are you peeking at my checkbook? If you’ve ever read a daily horoscope about Scorpios, you’ll know that they are intensely secretive and never want anyone to know anything about their lives, including how much money they have.

This means if you are a Scorpio, no one is likely to have a true picture of how much you earn or have set aside in the bank.

Inherently, you are great at saving money while only spending when necessary. Just remember that the tight grip you have over your finances can loosen from time to time for a little fun.

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

Finances get better with age. In youth, a Sagittarius may have a difficult time holding onto money. It’s a good thing that these folks seem to be born lucky and can always acquire what they want when they need it the most.

However, as a Sagittarius, you have to be careful not to outplay your luck card since overspending and falling into debt can be an issue for you. If you learn how to manage money as most do by their 30s, financial freedom will become less about luck and instability and more about careful planning and security.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 21)

Cautious doesn’t necessarily equal cheap. Some people mistake the Capricorn for being high-level frugal (a.k.a. cheap). But really, these folks just know how to manage their money well.

If you are a Capricorn, don’t let others convince you that your cautious approach to money management should be changed. Instead, remind them of that great gift they’ll receive at Christmas time because you’re so good at saving your money (without gloating, mind you, since you’re good at that, too).

Aquarius (January 22 – February 18)

Traditional spending is for the birds! It doesn’t take money for an Aquarius to aim for the financial stars. This is actually a good trait because this type of focus is needed to get what we truly want in life.

The only problem you may have if you’re an Aquarius is that you sometimes go out and buy what you want even if you don’t have the money yet.

Create a spending plan to help you get what you want while ensuring you have money growing in some type of  investment vehicle at the same time.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

Millionaires in the making. While Cancer houses the most self-made millionaires, Pisces houses the most millionaires of any type. Pretty cool, right?

If you are a Pisces, you likely have an uncanny ability to draw money to you, which helps you save and invest with great skill. Just be careful not to allow yourself and others to spend so much of your money on get-rich quick schemes that you lose everything you’ve worked hard to acquire.

As you look at your zodiac sign, you may wonder how you will be able to manage if you lean too far in the direction of impulsive or frugal. The good news is that no matter where you fall on the zodiac, there are benefits to your inherent nature.

So take time to get to know yourself financially and even read your free horoscope from time to time for insight. You may be surprised by just how well you’re able to manage the natural talents the planets have granted you.
