Entrepreneur Café: SMEs Undertake Collectively
Encourage Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to engage collectively in order to share their experiences. This was the objective of the round table "Entrepreneur Café" held Thursday at the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) in Coromandel for a score of SMEs.

Entrepreneur Café concept organized for the first time on a pilot basis by SMEDA, is that of a powerful social technology to engage people in meaningful conversations. Based on the fact that dialogue is the fundamental process that affects the life, entrepreneurial and organizational Entrepreneur Café is thus a way of thinking and to participate in a leadership philosophy conversational. Entrepreneur Café offers a space for participants to enable them to put forward their ideas, projects and issues.

According to the Director of SMEDA, Indranee Seebun, Entrepreneur Café aims to bring a paradigm shift in the field of entrepreneurship . "This is a quick and easy way to activate collective intelligence, create connections between individuals, dissolve the opinions and judgments. In an open space, people are encouraged to take action while committing to move forward, "she says.

Participants are divided into groups of five and each group is gathered around a table. A person acts as "host" on each table and offers a topic that is discussed later. Participants are free to mingle with participants from other tables and discuss various topics. After this session, participants are invited to gather and share their ideas and experiences with the rest of the group.

During the roundtable, participants suggested five areas that directly concern: growth, marketing, technology, recruitment and innovation and modernization. Participants and express freely on issues, ask questions and try to get ideas from other people. At the end of the year, the expected results are that entrepreneurs must have found answers to their questions or have adopted a mindset.

Entrepreneur Note Café is based on a concept known as the international "World Café" and "Pro-Action Café". Several countries such as the United States, Sweden, England, Finland and Singapore, among others, to organize such events.
