Wellness: Opening a gym by Ministry of Labour

Gym was inaugurated the Ministry of Labour in Port-Louis at Wednesday. "The idea of having such a space germinated last year during a business trip. Many employees abroad have access to this type of facility. As the health and well-being of those who work with me are important, I thought why not follow the example, "said the minister responsible Shakeel Mohamed.

This project required an investment of Rs 600,000. "The gym is open daily, is free. It is equipped with all the necessary equipment, "said the minister. A cloakroom and showers are currently under construction.

Officials say they are happy for them to have access to a gym. "Now it will be easier to make sport for our breaks or after work," says one of them.
