Plaisance : New Terminal Equipped To Accommodate Larger Aircraft

These widebodies at two levels, are capable of carrying more than 500 passengers. New equipment purchased by AML in the context of the modernization of landing strip in Plaisance, in the south of Mauritius should also be able to accommodate a larger number of devices

This is the Emirates Airlines Airbus A380, which will perform a special flight through the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the Independence of Mauritius, March 12, will be the first widebody to receive the airbridge.

Special flight EK 701 will land March 12, 2013 at 9:40 am. Besides the customers, this flight will include a group of VIPs and foreign journalists, specially invited for the occasion, which will have the opportunity to experience the unique service on board the Emirates A380. Later in the evening, return flight EK 702 will take off at 23:20.
