PM Elaborates on Importance of Spirituality and..
The Prime Minister inaugurated yesterday in Grand-Bassin the first phase of the Somnath Hindu Spiritual Park House and unveiled the plaque of the second phase. Navin Ramgoolam spoke about spirituality, meditation and inner peace.

It was attended by the President of the Republic, Kailash Purryag, VPM and the Minister of Public Infrastructure Anil Bachoo, ministers Choonee, Virahsawmy, Abu Kasenally the PPS Kalyanee Jhugroo, High Commissioner of India to Mauritius TP Seetaram and Ashok Jain, director of Jain Group of Companies.

The Prime Minister in his speech confirmed the appointment as secretary of Kalyanee Jhugroo Gen 'Meeting of the Labour Party. He also pointed out that when the Neerendra Ramdhun approached to land at Grand-Bassin, he at first hesitated for fear that this project does not change the atmosphere and the beauty of this sacred place. Then, "I accepted because my conditions have been accepted in accordance with the standards," he said.

Spiritual Park is an ideal place for meditation and yoga and spiritual retreat. Hinduism, he argued, attaches great importance to actma (soul) is eternal. He then stressed the importance of inner peace. "We must not forget the meaning of life ..." He cited the example of Steve Jobs, the computer genius, who asked to be buried his hands in the air to show the world that despite his wealth, he left empty-handed.

The prime minister elaborated on the importance of the Vedas, meditation and silence. It refers to a table at the Louvre, which focuses on meditation. "Life is not easy, it is a struggle. We must work in justice and truth. '

Navin Ramgoolam stressed the contribution of Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam and Basant Rai in the transformation of Grand Bassin in a place of pilgrimage. The Prime Minister and the President of the Republic, Kailash Purryag have also launched an album on the developmental milestones of Grand-Bassin and souvenir magazine in the Maha Shivaratree 2013. The PM and his wife Veena then went to Somnath temple where they poured holy water on the Shivling in oval shape with around 108 other Shivling from the river Narvada India.

Minister Bachoo for his part spoke of the need for unity and stressed that the god Shiva flattens all the difficulties of life. He announced that the 108 feet statue of Durga Maa will be ready this year and the shelters in Grand-Bassin was covered and parking areas, enlarged.

Veerendra Ramdhun thanked the PM for the granting of land. It is an old dream come true 30 years said the president of the Hindu House. He stressed the immense contribution of Jain Irrigation in the project.
