Turf Season 2013: Opening of the Main Track this Morning

The great Champ de Mars track was opened for the first time this year this morning during a workout which drew nearly a thousand punters. Preparing horses outside of the racing season, which starts on March 23, enters an important phase.

More than a hundred gallops on the track and seven small "barrier trial" on the big track. Many punters present at Champ de Mars this morning did not stay on their hunger as training horses, a little over a week the kickoff of the season took place at a breakneck pace.
