The 'coaching' is also a profession that is growing. Estimated at 30,000 in the world in 2007, professional coaches are estimated to number 47,500 according to the latest study by PriceWaterCoopers on behalf of the International Coach Federation.
"The information campaign and awareness will revolve around three axes. For the general public in the media, interviews and articles will be written by members of the IOCA on various aspects of 'coaching'. For professionals, an event 'Networking' with business professionals and human resources is on the agenda. And finally, professional associations, meetings will be held with their members, "said Richard Gourel Saint-Pern, president of the 'Qualifying Committee' of the IOCA.
