The Embassy of France indicates that the list of Fellows was arrested during a meeting of the Joint Committee Maurice France on 22 April.
For the 2013-2014 school year, two winners of the French Alliance, Amandine and Marianne Krishni Valaydon Meenakshi, will fly to France, the first for Social Studies and the second law school. France Andrew Francis, winner of the Higher School Certificate (HSC) Rodrigues, also won a scholarship for a license to leading engineering in France.
Nine other candidates who have already completed a first higher education in France, Mauritius or elsewhere route will be flown to a Master or PhD. They Seewanand Balkeea Arvind Bhowruth Silvana Lovena Rachel Mardamootoo, Abhishek Sokappadu Prayag and Ejagen Sadien for engineering, Tahir Ahmad Ayal Sooltangos and Jonathan Fook Kiong for medicine and Premika Devi Buchoo the Right.
Each Fellow will receive an annual allowance of Rs 220,000 to allow him to live and study in the best possible conditions. The French government will fully support the visa fees, registration fees and social security contributions.
