MRA innovates with a new system that will facilitate communication with importers. The official launch of a new "SMS Facilities to Economic Operators' project took place on Monday, August 5 at the" Customs House. "

Importers can now simply send an SMS or see their cell phone to know the progress of their case. This new service was launched on Monday, August 5 at the Customs House.

 For example, a message with the number of the declaration notify the importer that the declaration has been paid to Customs. Also, when a shipment is cleared through customs, a message is sent to warn that the procedure was performed. 

This service is intended primarily for importing and using the services of an agent to perform their customs declarations. To register for this service, simply download them to a form that is available on the website of the Mauritius Network Services (MNS) http://mns.mu or http://tradenet.intnet.mu, and the send fax on 401-6802, via e-mail, register@mns.intnet.mu or by post to the following address: Mauritius Network Services Ltd, Cybercity, Ebene.
