Les membres du nouveau gouvernement ont prêté serment hier mardi, les PPS aussi nommés

Le cabinet ministériel du nouveau gouvernement a pris forme. Les 24 ministres, dont Pravind Jugnauth qui a été reconduit au poste de Premier ministre, ont prêté serment le mardi 12 novembre à la State House. Pravind Jugnauth occupe également le poste de ministre de la Défense et de Rodrigues.

Le nouveau cabinet ministériel compte trois femmes, dont Leela Devi DOOKUN-LUCHOOMUN, qui a été nommée vice-Première ministre pour la première fois et ministre de l’éducation, de l’Éducation tertiaire et de la science et de la technologie.

À noter que le ministère des Infrastructures publiques et du Transport a été scindé en deux. Un ministère pour le transport et un autre pour les infrastructures publiques. Ce sont Alan Ganoo et Bobby Hureeram qui assureront la suppléance de ces ministères respectivement.
