New Identity Card: Campaign Starts
From this Sunday, August 11 began a major advertising campaign on the digital identity card. The goal: to learn about the various features thereof. The distribution of this new identity card is it scheduled from September.

Before moving to the era of digital identity card, the government wishes to inform the public about what it really contain. Thus, from this Sunday, August 11, a campaign will be launched using all possible advertising media to publicize the new features of the identity card.

The new ID card will actually accelerate the passage of almost everything manual to digital in all spheres of government administration. In addition to the standard information, it will have an electronic chip that will contain fingerprints, address, marital status and the digital certificate holder.

The distribution of new cards is scheduled from October 2013 until September 2014. The distribution will require the construction of 12 centers, including two in Rodrigues where the exchange of cards will be made.
