The Government Recruits Young Graduates

The monthly salary is Rs 20,000 for those who are licensed and Rs 25,000 for those who have a "postgraduate". The contract period is two years, with the option of renewal. In the last budget, the Grand treasurer announced the recruitment of 300 graduate spread over one year.

According to a senior official of the Ministry of Finance, these recruitments allow recruits to have experience in public service and access to new technologies. They can work on new projects undertaken by the department. They will set up computer systems and implement the report's recommendations 'Errors, Omissions & Anomalies' to improve the services of the Public Service.

To be eligible, you must have a license in 'Computer Science', 'Computer Engineering', 'Information Systems', 'Information Technology', 'Business Studies', 'Accounting' or 'Economics'. The criteria are as follows: the candidate must be under 45 years old and able to communicate in English and French. Nominations are open to foreigners. The scoring system, developed by the Ministry of Finance to evaluate the candidates, based on the performance, the classification of the tertiary institution, scholarships and experience.
