Guernsey Maurice: A Double Taxation Agreement Signed Soon

A double taxation agreement will soon be signed between Guernsey and the Republic of Mauritius.

Representatives of the Department of Mauritian tax and this dependency of the British Crown met from August 12 to 14 at the headquarters of the Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA) to Port Louis to discuss the agreement.The Mauritian delegation - composed of officials from the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade, and the Office of the Attorney General - was led by Mustapha Mosafeer, technical advisor the MRA. MRA announced that the agreement will be signed by the two governments will enter into force as soon as the formalities are completed on both sides.
