New Hangar for Private Jets
The Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport accommodates private jets for some time. But the number of these jets remains fairly stable now. About 200 private jets landed on the Mauritian soil since the beginning of the year so far while last year 270 jets landed in Mauritius.

The expansion of the airport will help accommodate more private jets in November and December. These are the big bosses, businessmen, and others who come to the country in their private jet. In December 2012, there were not enough seats to accommodate the jets. By early next year, a new hangar will be built and will require skilled people to maintain these jets.

Several stars rarely come to Mauritius but many very wealthy businessmen and people visiting the country by using the services General Aviation Mauritius Ltd (GAM).

This company, which operates in four years, has the necessary infrastructure to accommodate private jets. Numerous personalities choose Mauritius as a holiday destination. And this is the word-of-mouth that helps to promote the image of Mauritius.
