The scams by Nigerians multiply. This time, their weapon is no longer e-mails but the mobile phone of their victims. No fewer than a dozen people have been missing calls from foreign mobile numbers, mainly from England. Nigerians use SIM cards cloned to try to steal information stored on their mobile or make them pay the cost of the call.
The second hypothesis is more plausible because the victims had their sentences reduced to zero balance. Reflecting on websites, they claim to have spent a lot of money for nothing. Indeed, their partner asked them to call a different number and fees are exorbitant.
The money from the account can be hacked. In some cases, a pre-recorded voice asks the victim to call a second number for it recovers its price, being the holder of a winning lottery ticket.
