MTC Reveals Gests List for International Weekend
This is a list that includes 12 riders representing a dozen countries. For the first time, a Japanese rider will be there to this annual event. This is Yusuku Fujioka, age 26. Winner of over 400 races during his career, he has recently jumped to France where he was quick to get his first win.
Five other jockeys discover the Champ de Mars in this event which will mark the end of the racing season. They are Nash Rawiller (Australia), Sandesh Akhade (India), Cristian Demuro (Italy), James Doyle (UK) and Kevin Manning (Ireland). This is considered one of the most experienced jockeys in Ireland. It is a winner of the Epsom Derby in 2008 with New Approach.
The draw for the allocation of mounted and building teams will take place next Wednesday, November 27 at the Long Beach hotel.
Meanwhile, the MTC will close the regular season schedule on Saturday, November 23. On this occasion, priority will be given to horses who have found any tough competition throughout the year, where the organization of two "conditionned races" for them, or 3 th and 5 th events.
The main event, a 1365m restricted to horses 61-45 attracted 12 entries, including Wieland, who won this year's four wins in seven races.
