Identity Card: Calendar Reviewed for 23-44 Years
The team of Mauritius National Identity Scheme (ISMN) decided that recording aged between 23 and 44 years for the new ID card people will start from December 1st 2013.

Initially, the schedule had been established as follows: 23-33 years had to register between December 2013 and January 2014, and 34-44 years, from February 2014 to March 2014. Also note that in a few days to complete the conversion step 18-22

411 000 people are affected by this measure of team MNIS. They have until March 31, 2014 to complete the registration formalities.

"Over the weeks, the registration procedures have been refined and our team has seen fit to revise the calendar and opening hours centers conversion to allow a greater number of citizens to register for the new identity card, "says Rao Ramah, director of MNIS project. Thus, from December 1, the ten centers conversion of the island will be open from 9 am to 17 pm Monday through Sunday. They will be closed Thursday. This measure was taken in order, says one, to reduce queues at the conversion center in the morning.

Reminder, the documents required for registration for the new ID card are the the original of the birth certificate, proof of address, the old plastic identity card or memo from the police in case of loss and marriage for married women.

Note also that only central Ebony conversion, located on the ground floor of the Cybertour No. 1, is recently opened to all age groups. This is to facilitate the conversion process of the identity card for people who work in that area as most of these employees work on a shift system.

Moreover, a series of roadshows across the island to as part of the information campaign on the new ID card was launched on Saturday at Bagatelle. Games, musical entertainment with Steve Augustine and his dancers, skits by the troupe Comedy Mauritius, among others, were in the program. Sega on a new identity card played by Roger Clency entitled " Anou ale Mamalo" - the ségatier reworked - was also unveiled. It has not failed to inspire the team ISMN, which named its new campaign on the new identity card " Anou ale", launched the same day.

23-44 years:                1st December 2013 - 31 March 2014

45 to 55 years:          1 April to 31 May 2014

56 years and older: 1 June to 31 July 2014
