Mont-Gout: a "Witch" Arrested for Fraud
Aged between 35 and 63 years, they have blindly trust a "witch". And did not hesitate to make jewelry and silver, which were used as offerings to ward off bad luck, as Marie had asked Marina Rajaloo 47 years. But, realizing that their jewelry and money were gone, these four women living Mont Taste complained to the police station Pamplemousses.
The case was referred to the men of the Inspector Dharamraj Sookun and sergeants Seegoolam Seeparsand and the Criminal Investigation Division of Red Earth. This team has worked together with elements of the Field Intelligence Office , arrested Marie Marina Rajaloo to his home in Road Straws, Straws, early on Monday 25 November.
The forty denied the charges against him, claiming to have "cured" their "clients". The four villagers, however, have identified as the one who stole their jewelry and money.
Marie Marina Rajaloo was then presented to the court Pamplemousses under a provisional charge of fraud. She was held in police cell, the Police Prosecutor who objected to his release on bail.
