The union argued that the imminent start of consultations between the PRB, officials and employees of local authorities is a step in the right direction. The union said that with the publication of the next report of this institution, all those involved will be encouraged to give the best of themselves to service to the population.
Rashid Imrith, president of the Federation of Public Service told Le Matinal he is very satisfied that the procedures will start very soon. He added that this new terminates "concerns officials."
Both union leaders now wish that the management of this institution has a work schedule that will be modeled on consultations with trade union federations, unions and department heads of the public and those of local communities.
Other unionists want the recommendations of this institution to review the wage level, the conditions of service of civil servants and local government employees are known before the preparation of budget 2015.
