Illegal Fishing: the Authorities on the Alert
Disastrous situation for some boats that leave fish in our waters. Indeed, they come with 50% made less than usual. Blame it on the illegal fishing. Currently, were spotted on our schools of fish, several vessels with no fishing license. They devote themselves, however, especially at night.

Illegal fishing has certainly always existed but has grown recent times.

Which has done enormous damage to the local economy. The authorities are also on the alert.

These illegal vessels wreak havoc in our waters. This is also the opinion of the Minister of Fisheries Nicolas Von-Mally.

"When you have suspicions about a boat is checked if they are based," said Nicolas Von-Mally. "Sometimes it is too late to intercept. Last year, four boats were caught. We are ruthless when a boat without a license is listed in our waters, "said the Minister of Fisheries.

Thanks to the collaboration of Mauritian and foreign vessels that illegal vessels are identified. "The government is very vigilant on this issue. Maurice alone can not fight against illegal fishing. We want to put a stop to illegal fishing, "said Minister of Fisheries.
