There's a black hole somewhere in the universe with Steve Harvey’s name on it.

A day after the “Family Feud” host shocked the Earthbound by naming the wrong Miss Universe winner — on live TV — it emerged that Harvey didn’t stay for all of the show’s final run-through and practice.

Harvey claimed he made an “honest mistake” misreading the cue card when he crowned Miss Colombia, instead of true victor Miss Philippines.

But the comedian had also skipped out on a crucial part of the live broadcast rehearsals, a source told ET Online.

“Steve went to the beginning of rehearsals but missed the last hour, at least,” the source said. “He did not practice the ending.”

The name of the winner was not displayed on the teleprompter, the source added.

“They don’t want the girls to see it,” the source said.

Harvey took the blame for the prime time blunder — although in a behind-the-scenes Snapchat post, which has since been deleted, he said the teleprompter fed him the wrong name.

“The prompter said ‘Miss Universe — Colombia,’” Harvey tells a producer while waving his hands on the seven-second video.

Harvey’s apology tweet — which misspelled the countries of both the runnerup and the winner — only made things worse for him.

“Steve Harvey giveth the crown & Steve Harvey taketh away — Philippians 3:16,” wrote a Reddit user, riffing off the host’s apology to “Miss Philippians” and “Miss Columbia.”

Another online wag noted that “In Paul’s little-noticed Letter to the #Philippians, he writes: Always bet on the #Filipino girl.”

Former baseball star and admitted steroid-taker Jose Canseco swung the other way — tweeting his support for Harvey.

“Look at all the perfect people giving @Iamsteveharvey a hard time for making a mistake. Bunch of bitcht-ts. hug for u steve,” he said.

Harvey continued apologizing Monday for announcing Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez as the winner, and then admitting on live TV moments later that Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach was actually supposed to take the Miss Universe crown and sash.

The pageant’s former owner, Donald Trump, didn’t miss the opportunity to make the ghastly situation about him.

“Very sad what happened last night at the Miss Universe Pageant. I sold it 6 months ago for a record price. This would never have happened!” Trump tweeted .

He sold the Miss Universe organization to WME/IMG in September after co-owner NBCUniversal cut all ties with the GOP candidate and refused to air the Miss USA pageant after Trump made disparaging remarks about Mexican immigrants.

He also suggested the two women be declared “co-winners.”
