Harish Boodhoo has postponed his meeting to March 11

Harish Boodhoo has postponed his meeting, initially scheduled for February 25 at the Sun Trust building, to March 11. Boodhoo announced the new date of the meeting at a press conference on Monday at the Marie Reine de la Paix Social Centre in Port Louis.

He said the reason which led him to take this decision is the limited time available to inform the Ministry of Public Infrastructure, National Development Unit, Land Transport and Shipping and the police commissioner, who have to be given notice seven days prior to the holding of any public meeting.

The main topics to be discussed are the acquisition of MedPoint Clinic by the state and promotions within the police force.

Boodhoo announced a series of activities to be held from March 11 till April 20. During this period, he will hold 11 meetings, which will culminate with a demonstration outside the office of the Prime Minister.
