Two free open-air concerts of Mauritius Opera

Mauritians will be able to hear and appreciate musical masterpieces

The choirs of the Mauritius Opera will be holding two free open-air concerts at Plaza Square, Rose Hill on Saturday March 19 at 5pm and at the Pamplemousses Garden on March 20, also at 5 pm.

Mauritians will be able to hear and appreciate musical masterpieces such as West Side Story, Melodie du Bonheur and Carmen. Both concerts will end with the choir singing the National Anthem.

The Mauritius Opera choir and the Mauritius Opera children’s choir are directed by Katrin Caine, a German soprano who now lives in Mauritius.
