The Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority took part in the 18th Moscow International Exhibition, ‘MITT Travel and Tourism’ that was held from March 16 to 19 in ExpoCenter, Moscow.
MITT is Russia’s number one travel exhibition, with the participation of over 3,000 companies offering more than 185 destinations.
It is a key meeting place for the industry and is an opportunity to make valuable contacts and strike business deals.
Twelve companies from Mauritius participated in the fair. In a well designed and a excellently located booth of 84 square metres, Beachcomber Hotels, Luxe Voyage, Mauritours, Mautourco, Mövenpick Resort & Spa Mauritius, MTPA, Naiade Resorts, Solis Indian Ocean, Sun Resorts, Veranda Resorts, The Grand Mauritian and White Sand Tours were presented.
MITT is an ideal platform for Mauritius travel trade representatives to network with Russian travel trade counterparts.
Russian outbound market is recovering with more and more people willing to discover new exotic destinations.
The aim of the MTPA is to attract more Russian tourists and to make them experience a truly and unique taste of Mauritius.
