Indian Resort Operations Continuing Despite Closure Order

The hotel Indian Resort in Le Morne continues its activities, despite a prohibition to operate issued by the Tourism Authority. This annoys the direction of the Tourism Authority. "We gave time to executives of the hotel they plan to cease operations," said Niven Mooneesamy, director of the institution. He adds:  "When a stop command is issued, we would like it to be respected."

The Tourism Authority had issued a cease operating on March 22. It took effect Saturday, March 31. This was in response to complaints received At the Tourism Authority and denouncing a lack of hygiene in the hotel establishment. The Indian Resort had previously been repeatedly verbalized.
