CPE 2012: Dates to Remember

Tests of 25,250 examinees of the Certificate of Primary Education (CPE) entered the final phase. Indeed, the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate (MES) is in the final audits. This exercise is essential before the proclamation of results.

Once the results are official, parents will retrieve primary school attended by the child. Thereafter, they will proceed with the admission of their children in different secondary schools, Tuesday, Dec. 18. However, with the results in hand, parents can go to private colleges if they are not satisfied with the obtained secondary school.

Those seeking a place in an establishment of the Office of Catholic Education will move to the desired college closer to home, Thursday, Dec. 13. They should bring the following documents: birth certificate of the child, and the results letter from the Ministry of Education all accompanying documents received yesterday.

Each year, there are candidates who do not receive college for various reasons. Some want a review of the results, others hoped to obtain another institution that registered on their documents. All these cases will be treated at the announcement of the results until the day of admission. However, it is imperative to admit the child to the college received December 18, until a response from the authorities.
