Air Mauritius: Additional Flights for Peak Periods
To meet the growing demand during peak periods, namely the festive seasons such as Christmas, Air Mauritius sets up additional flights between Mauritius and destinations such as Paris, London and Bombay. The airline will also offer larger capacity aircraft for South Africa.

According Raj Beedassy, Manager - Public Relations & Events Air Mauritius, the company has the ability to increase the number of flights as soon as the demand arises. "It is the ability to adjust according to demand," he says.

Thus, several additional flights were scheduled from 27 October 2013 to 19 March 2014. For example, for the period from December to January, five flights are offered to London, while an A340 will be involved for flights Tuesday and Saturday to Cape Town. Flights to Rodrigues will also be increased from two to four or five a week.
