Those eligible must have exported their products over the past two years. The prizes will be awarded in the following categories: (i) those exported for the first time in 2011 and 2012, (ii) firms have made revenues of less than Rs 50 million, (iii) firms have made revenues of more than Rs 50 million but less than Rs 150 million, and (iv) firms that have achieved revenues of over Rs 150 million.
In giving these awards, EM wants to demonstrate the success of Mauritian companies have succeeded despite the global economic crisis. The granting of these fins also aims to encourage Mauritian entrepreneurs to do better.
