7 Essential Tools for Business...
Life is hard out there for a jet-setter, and if you find yourself on a plane or a train more than at your desk, these tips are for you.

Between calculating expense reports and trying to navigate around a new city, traveling for business can be a headache. So, in order to help keep your business trips stress free, we've compiled the best apps to help you find Wi-Fi hotspots, track your flight and even combine awards points from different programs to help you maximize your rewards.

Did we leave out one of your favorite business travel apps? Share it with us in the comments.

1. Points.com

This is an awesome site where you can combine your rewards points from different programs, such as popular airlines, banks and pharmacies. You can exchange your miles with other users, and redeem or buy more miles or points to get what you want. For example, if you have some frequent flier miles built up on a bunch of different airlines, you can consolidate them here and finagle yourself a free flight.

2. GateGuru

GateGuru aims to be the door-to-door solution for travelers on their day of travel. When you input your upcoming trips, GateGuru will automatically update and alert you to any gate changes, delays or layover time adjustments. Once you're at the airport, you can easily discover food options at various terminals, and even rent a car through the app.

3. AllSubway

This comprehensive subway app will help you get around over 160 cities in the world. From Basel to Tehran, AllSubway is the only app you'll need to help you navigate different subway systems with ease. It is available for iOS only, for $0.99..

4. Expensify

Keeping track of receipts when you're traveling is a huge pain. Fortunately, Expensify makes putting together your expense reports seamless and easy. The app imports your expenses straight from your credit card or bank account, and it will compile all of the information into a PDF expense report. For cash purchases, you can use your phone to scan the receipt, and Expensify will log it in your expense report. You can send these expense reports via email, and the service will reimburse up to $10,000 online. It is a free download for both iOS and Android devices.

5. CardMunch

If you're constantly losing business cards, this is the perfect app for you. Instead of having to keep track of all that paper, take a quick picture of the card with the app, and it will create a mobile contact in your phone with the information. Also, since CardMunch was acquired by LinkedIn, the app automatically pulls information from their LinkedIn profile, as well.

6. XE Currency

If you're looking for a quick and free currency converter app, this is everything you could ever need. With more than 180 currencies, this app updates in real-time so you always know the latest currency exchange rates. Also, it always stores the last updated exchange rates so you can access them offline. It is available for free, for iOS and Android devices.

7. Wi-Fi Finder

It can be unbelievably difficult to find a Wi-Fi hotspot while you're traveling, but Wi-Fi Finder developed the perfect app to help you stay connected. With more than 650,000 locations in more than 140 countries, this will help you find both free and paid Wi-Fi while you're on the go. It is available as a free download for both iOS and Android devices.
