Some villagers believe that this would be the work of fishermen who have abandoned after being caught illegally, for fear of being arrested by the guardians. They exercise, in fact, increased surveillance in the region before the official opening of the seine, March 3. "We suspect that when the fishermen were told they were being watched, they preferred to throw the fish at sea, " said a fisherman in the guise of anonymity.

Asked the Minister of Fisheries Nicolas Von-Mally, said an investigation will be opened.
