Weather: Heavy Rains and Thunderstorms for the Weekend

It is in the course of the day the weather is expected to spoil, with moderate rainfall and risk of a thunderstorm. In a special statement issued Thursday 20 March, the national weather station sounds the alarm. This bad weather will even last until the weekend, it says.

The latter emphasizes that accumulations of water are not spread in areas with high rainfall, especially Saturday.

In fact, the entire Mauritius is under the influence of a low pressure that moves north of the Mascarene Islands.
