Rodrigues, Regional assembly: Reconstitution of the Tourism Advisory Committee and assistance plan for football teams

Among the decisions taken, the executive council approved the establishment of an assistance plan for football teams in the upper and first divisions. This will make it possible to build a “club house” for football teams, as announced in the 2024/2025 Budget speech.

The Commission for Prisons will organize basic training for 22 new recruits, two months in Rodrigues and one month in a real situation in Mauritius. Recruits will thus be able to acquire the skills necessary to perform their functions effectively. Furthermore, the Commission for Tourism will reactivate and reconstitute the Tourism Advisory Committee with a new chair and new members from July 1, 2024 for a period of two years.
