In a press release, Air Mauritius announced, this Tuesday, February 25, exceptional measures due to the tropical depression that could disrupt its operations in the coming days. The company offers its passengers the possibility of changing their travel dates free of charge until March 31, 2025.
A dedicated page on the official website airmauritius.com will be updated regularly to inform passengers of the affected flights. They will also be able to change their bookings online to avoid the call centre being overloaded.
Passengers are requested not to go to the airport without having checked the status of their flight via https://www.airmauritius.com/manage/booking or the official social networks of the company.
Air Mauritius continues to monitor the situation closely and ensures that regular updates will be communicated to inform travellers.
Passengers can change their travel dates free of charge until March 31, 2025.
Due to the approach of storm Garance, Air Mauritius has brought forward several flights scheduled for tomorrow, including those to Paris, London, Delhi, Rodrigues, Reunion Island and Johannesburg, as well as flights from Rodrigues, Reunion Island and Perth.
The airline warns that worsening weather could disrupt flights in the coming days. Passengers can change their travel dates free of charge until March 31, 2025.
