
Out of 15,047 candidates in 2025, 10,598 passed, representing a national pass rate of 70.43%, a rise of 0.93 percentage points compared to 2024’s 69.5%.
Girls achieved 73.65% success, while boys reached 66.93%.

Optional languages: Kreol Morisien rose to 93% (from 89.2%), while Hindi increased moderately to 73.95%.
For Grade 9 Extended, the results remain very poor. Out of 1,460 students who took the exams, only 78 passed, representing a rate of 5.3%.
Speaking to the press yesterday morning, the director of the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate explained that measures will be put in place to support these students.
Note that the PSAC results will be announced on December 11th.
