The Mauritius Examinations Syndicate (MES) made arrangements early this year regarding School Certificate (SC) results. As early as December 24th, a circular letter was sent to secondary school principals, informing them of the dates and procedures for the results.
Last Wednesday, school principals were able to retrieve their access codes to the Cambridge website. Students' access codes will be issued to them no later than Monday, January 12th. However, candidates will only be able to view their results online on Thursday, starting at 10:00 AM Mauritius time.
A total of 14,612 candidates sat for the School Certificate exams in October 2025. The pass rate for the 2024 cohort was 72.65%. Since last year, it is no longer necessary to obtain five credits to be admitted to Grade 12 and sit for the Higher School Certificate. A minimum of three credits is now accepted.
In addition, approximately 86 students who opted for the Technology Education stream will also receive their results. These were organized by the National Examination Board, as is the case for the Grade 11 Kreol Morisien exams. The results will be released at the same time as the SC results.
