The exams took place from October 28 to October 31, 2025 — marking the end of primary school for thousands of students across the country. Last year, the pass rate was 79.47%.
The Mauritius Examinations Syndicate (MES) also announced how the results will be distributed, admission to Grade 7 for January 2026, and the organisation of PSAC re-assessment.
For students enrolled in schools: school authorities are expected at MES’s Réduit office Thursday, December 11, to collect results and official documents. Schools in the Plaines Wilhems and Moka districts must arrive starting at 7:00 AM, while those from other regions start at 6:00 AM.
Parents will receive report-cards (“result slips”) and admission letters for Grade 7 at their children’s schools between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM the same day.
Private-candidates who sat the exams in October 2025 can pick up their results directly at MES – Réduit on Thursday December 11, between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM (with ID). If they can’t come in person, results will be sent by post Friday December 12.
Admission letters for Grade 7 for school year 2026 will also be handed out on December 11.
Heads of public and private secondary schools are invited to MES starting at 8:00 AM to view the list of admitted students.
Finally — for students who did not pass — the PSAC Re-Assessment is scheduled for December 18, 19 and 22, 2025. Candidates concerned will be notified via official MES letter.
